Technology
How Televisions Have Changed
Technology is always changing, growing, ad developing. That means that throughout the years the technology has changed so much and with that there has also been changes to society. For example, when movies first came out they were only played in the theaters. This would mean that families would go out to the theater to see a film and they would spend time with each other and maybe even their neighbors. As time went along, though, things like DVD players and DVDs were invented, so now people were able to watch these same films, they would have had to go out to see, in the comfort of their homes and that was pretty appealing. This would then make it so people were much less social because instead of going out on a Friday night to watch a movie in the theater they were able to stay at home with a movie. Also, the technology used to create movies has changed. In the beginning movies were in black and white and had no sound, but then as technology developed sound and color were introduced into the movies, making many more things possible. This could have changed society because it is much easier to get messages across when you have things such as color and sound to work with, so it would have been easier for film makers to spread messages to the public when these technologies were invented. Also, the public probably was more interested in the films with color and sound because today movies still have these aspects and some people are still trying to invent new things, like 3D. These are just some of the technological changes and developments that have led to changes in society.
