Arnold Schwarzenegger
Born on July 10, 1947 in Austria Schwarzenegger's childhood wasn't great. Because of this he was really into films and especially an actor named Reg Parker who was also a bodybuilder. This caused Arnold to become a bodybuilder and then that is when he moved to the United States. One of the things that bodybuilding taught him was “Just like in bodybuilding, failure is also a necessary experience for growth in our own lives, for if we're never tested to our limits, how will we know how strong we really are? How will we ever grow? ” Which makes this seems like it was an important part in his life, and while as he excelled as a bodybuilder he still had a dream of making it big in Hollywood. Eventually he was in a few different action films, like Stay Hungry and The Terminator. Then, in 2003 Schwarzenegger ran for the Governor of California and won. This shows how popular people on the screen are with their fans if a bodybuilder and actor could become the governor of a state, but Schwarzenegger was a good governor who improved the financial problems of the state, he helped to promote new businesses, and protect the environment of the state, saying in one speech "Global warming is one of those things, not like an earthquake where there's a big bang and you say, 'Oh, my God, this is really, has hit us.' It creeps up on you. Half a degree temperature difference from one year to the next, a little bit of rise of the ocean, a little bit of melting of the glaciers, and then all of a sudden it is too late to do something about it". So you can tell that he really cares about the people and the state. After his term in office he was easily re-elected, maybe again showing how popular and famous he was from his former career.
